"This is a well balanced drink. The spices have obviously been judged with expertise. None of them shout "at you - they just float along in harmony. The warmth that the chillies, black pepper and ginger offer, doesn't sting - they just envelop the palate with a gentle heat that lingers on the finish. A light effervescence tingles the tongue. Great sweetness - just enough. The cinnamon and clove offer a cosy aroma and a soft finish. This is a very clever product.

"This is such a beautiful way of presenting ginger. All of the other ingredients serve to enhance the ginger, with the Scotch Bonnet in particular beautifully judged. The judges also loved the lack of sweetness and how this made for a very adult ginger beer."

"A vibrant kimchi with good balance and a pleasing variety of vegetables. The judges loved how once you got past the initial chilli kick the flavours evolved into an umami rich, complex kimchi. The fermentation is very well judged, as is the soy. The finish is lengthy and gorgeous, with the chilli sitting in harmony with the vegetables."
